Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The go-to place to get my nasi kandar cravings satisfied. Taste is good, clean restaurant, but the price is a bit expensive. Parking is also limited. Easier to come here by bike or maybe get a take away."
"Someone said this Nasi Kandar owner migrate to KL from Penang in 50's together with Yaseem and Kudu owner. They split to run their own stall/restaurant in late 60's and early 70's. Along Jalan TAR from Chow Kit you'll see Yaseem, Kudu, Saddam and Sithique and Ibramsha juat before Dataran Junction, opposite KAMDAR. Enough wit the history. Below is my honest review for Ibramsha Nasi Kandar: Rice : Nice and soft. Perfectly cook Dishes : No fancy & exotic dishes like others, but the core menu juat enough to satisfy your Nasi Kandar cravings. For this visit i take Mutton, fried chicken, cabbage, lady finger and half salted egg. The heart of the Nasi Kandar is Kuah Campur (mix gravy), and it goes fantastically well with white rice (keep in the wrap for about 30 minutes) Drinks : Take away Teh Ais, andd it wass soo good to uave in hot weather Price : Not further argument, very reasonable and affordable. Just like regular customer said, if you craving for Penang Nasi Kandar, visit Ibramsha. Done.! Whay else to say, Ibramsha be my 1st choice from now on"
"30/10/2025 Today is last dine-in at jalan tar. After 20 overs years finally it will be closed permanently and shift to a new place"
"A no nonsence, decent OG nasi kandar..i personally like sweet gravy with my nasi kandar (kuah ayam madu, or ayam kicap) but the don't have any.. So i opted for the usual kuah campue It tasted good though, you can definitely taste the spiciness In this economy, i would say the price is justifiable.. Mine is RM9 (nasi separuh)"
"One of the better Penang Nasi Kandar in Kuala Lumpur. Parking can be a challenge but I went during EMCO and just parked curbside. They dont have a lot of choice of items but their speciality is ayam hitam and daging kicap. Price wise is OK .."
"Used to come here when I was very young. The atmosphere is very inviting. The food choices may be little but they were amazing. The food is spicy, hot, and savoury. You know a mamak restaurant is good if they have a dedicated man at the counter to plate your food."
"The nasi kandar dishes/lauk are amazing here! Be prepared to be overwhelmed and end it with the ABC topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream!"
"27 June '22 - I will say that taste is not what it used to be. But still ok. Easily the best outside of penang - and better than many shops in penang too. I have been eating here since 1975 when it was just a stall in a chinese coffee shop next to Globes. Quality still better than most although it has dropped a tad. Their kitchen is clean and that a rarity with nasi kandar shops. Can't get much better than this."
